Superstition

I'm not superstitious by any means, but when I'm taking eye pressures, and the patient is a pain in the ass, I'll record 13 mm Hg if it is 12 or 14.

You see those green semicircles in the center of the photo? Those are created by using a dye and applying a plastic prism to the eye. You then adjust a knob that applies more or less pressure against the cornea. When the pressure is equalized, the semicircles should be aligned as you see... just overlapping... but it is slightly subjective.
